Push the Blues Away

Josh Teskey & Ash Grunwald]
Well, you know I'm trying to find a way
Don't you know I'm trying, trying to find a way?
A way to make it work, make it go away, but the blues is here to stay
But you know I'm always tryin' to push these blues away

Hey now, baby, can you see just what I've done? Yeah
Hey now, baby, can you see just what I've done?
I treated you mean, I pushed you away, but the blues is here to stay
You know I'm always tryin' to push these blues away

Now I'm walking 'round in circles getting lost in every town, mmm
Now I'm walking 'round in circles getting lost in every town
I been blown around by a big old wind since that day I let you down
Big old blues keeps coming on down

You know I keep tryin', tryin' to find a way, yeah
Don't you know I'm tryin', tryin' to find a way?
A way to make it work, make it go away, but the blues is here to stay
Don't you know I'm tryin' to push these blues away?

Hey now, baby, can you see I know what went wrong?
Hey now, baby, can you see I know what went wrong?
There's a river in me that's pullin' me away, it's tryna float me away
But there's nothin' in the water gonna wash these blues away

Don't know why I'm tryin' to push so hard away
Don't know why I'm tryin' to push so hard away
Well, I'm pushing you, and you're pushing me back, but nothin' push the blues away
But you know I'm tryin' to push these blues away
